Adding Mortgage Insurers for Delinquency Reporting to MI Companies
The purpose of this Article is to instruct a User in adding a Mortgage Insurer for Reporting Delinquencies to Mortgage Insurer Companies
Mortgage Insurer Screen
Use the Mortgage Insurer screen to view, add, change, or delete mortgage insurers. Mortgage insurers are companies that provide mortgage insurance for the loans that you service.
Mortgage insurers are stored in the Mortgage Insurer table. Some data in this table is system-delivered. You can change some system-delivered data, but you cannot delete it.
To access the Mortgage Insurer screen,
- Open System Administration Application.
- Open Table Set Up.
- Select Mortgage Insurer.
- Open.
Complete the fields in this screen. The MI Company must have a client number in the Client Number field on the New Mortgage Insurer screen or the Edit Mortgage Insurer screen. (You get this number from the MI Company.) For any particular loan to be included in a batch and in the related export file, you must also make sure that an MI company has been selected either as the Primary Mortgage Insurer or the Pool Insurer for that loan on the Guaranty screen. - Customer Service Application
