Adding Servicing Director Report Filter Criteria
Servicing Director reports are delivered with many choices for report filter criteria, but not all the possible fields available for every report are setup as filter criteria.
You can add any fields which are available but not already setup as filter criteria as new filter criteria options for a delivered Servicing Director report.
The available fields are defined by and limited to the data selected by the SQL view associated with the report.
You will need to know the name of the Servicing Director report, as well as the name of the SQL view associated with that report.
If you own a retail copy of the Crystal Reports XI program, you can use it to find the name of the SQL view used in the Servicing Director report. If you do not have Crystal Reports, you can get the name of the SQL view from Servicing Director support.
Do the following to add fields which are available but not already setup as filter criteria as new filter criteria:
- Open the System Administration application Table Setup screen.
- Browse to Report/Letter Query, then click Open.
- Locate and select the name of the SQL view, then click Open.
- Click New.
- From the 'Column Name' list, select the name of the new, available field that you want to use as filter criteria.
- Accept the default auto populated values for Date Type and Size fields.
- If your filter criteria is the type of field where you will expect to select from a drop down list in the Instance Criteria screen of the report, then you will need to also select from the 'List Table Name' and 'List Field Name' lists. An example of this is PrimStat field (Primary status), where in the criteria of the report, you will select from the drop down list (PrimStat = 'Active').
- Otherwise, leave the 'List Table Name' and 'List Field Name' options blank. An example of this would be Escrow Balance, where in the filter criteria you would be expected to enter a value (EscrowBalance > 0.00).
- To save your changes, click OK.
- Click Close to exit the set up screens.
- You will now have this new filter criteria option available in the Instance Criteria screen of the report.
