After Connection Errors Trying to Open a Servicing Director Application, An Unexpected SQL Server Login Screen Appears

If there are connection errors when you try to open a Servicing Director application, and the expected logon screen does not appear, then another Microsoft provided SQL Server Login screen may appear.

The Microsoft SQL Server login screen will show the following settings and options:
Data Source: Servicing
Use Trusted Connection
Login ID: LoanServicing
Password ***********
Plus an additional Options screen.

Workaround:

This Microsoft provided SQL Login screen should not be used to log into Servicing Director.
It is the result of a server configuration error preventing the Servicing Director applications from being able to login normally, and the Microsoft ODBC data source is trying to help, but trying to use the Microsoft SQL Login screen will just lead to more errors.
To resolve the issue, have your local IT or system administrator resolve the server configuration issue.
Capture the exact full text of the connection error messages which were displayed before the Microsoft SQL Login screen appeared, and provide them to your local IT or system administrator to resolve.
You may find other Knowledge Center articles which match your connection error messages.
