Allowing Users to Modify the Business Day

You want to allow users to modify the business date in EZTeller after taking an End of Day but limit how may days a user can advance the business day into the future.


  1. Open Superview and select your role.

Note: Superview access is defined under Security Details. If you don't have access to this module, contact your administrator. 

  1. Select a working group. Your structural hierarchy is displayed.
  2. Select the bank level you are modifying and then click OK. 
  3. Click Profile Options > Transactions.
  4. Select the End of Day tab.
  5. Check the box for Manual New Day.

Note: EZTeller automatically displays the next business day after a users declares an End of Day. If this box is selected, users are allowed to modify the business day.

  1. Enter a number in the Max Future Days box to limit how many days a user can manually advance the business date into the future.
  2. Click Apply.
  3. Click Yes to the message: "Profile changes have occurred on the End of Day page for Branch XXX. Do you want to save these changes?"
  4. Click OK to return to the main screen.
  5. The tellers must exit EZTeller and restart before this change will be recognized.
