Allowing Users to Turn Off the Tip of the Day Feature at Startup

You want to allow users to turn off the Tip of the Day feature so that it does not show during the startup of EZTeller.


  1. Open Superview and select your role.

Note: Superview access is defined under Security Details, if you don't have access to this module, contact your administrator.

  1. You must select a working group when opening Superview. When your structural hierarchy is displayed, select the bank or branch level you are modifying and then click OK.
  2. Select Profile Options > Workstations > General.
  3. Select Modify only the selected workstation or Modify all workstations.

Note: You can control which workstations show the Tip of the Day by selecting to modify only certain workstations under the Workstation tab.

  1. Click on the Display and Tips tab.
  2. In the Tips section, select the Allow Users to turn Off Tip of the Day check box.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Click Yes to the message: "Profile changes have occurred on the Display and Tips page for X workstation. Do you want to save these changes?"
  5. Click OK to return to the main screen.

 

Note: The tellers must exit EZTeller and restart before this change will be recognized.
