Approving Officer's Signature is not Printing Correctly on Cashier's Checks

On some workstations, only part of the officer's signature is printing on official checks.
Characters might also be missing on Receipts, Teller Cash Recap and Totals.


Workaround:

To resolve; Uncheck Use FIFO buffers on the PC COM Port and reboot the workstation.

 

  1. Right-click on the My Computer and select Properties.
  2. Click on the Hardware tab > Device Manager > Ports (Com & LPT).
  3. Right-click on the Communications Port (COM1) or the port being used by the printer.
  4. Select Properties > Port Settings > Advanced.
  5. Uncheck Use FIFO buffers box.
  6. Reboot the PC and restart EZTeller
