When a teller must leave in the middle of the business day, the host is online inactive and not expected to be online until later. Once the teller performs an End of Day, those transactions cannot be uploaded. Follow the below steps to forward the backlogged transactions to the host.

1. Open EZTeller. The morning teller who uses role 1234, will perform normal balancing procedures, but will not perform an End of Day.
2. In Superview, assign role 1234 to an afternoon teller who will be working late.

Note: Refer to Chapter Four of the Superview User Guide, EZTeller Roles and Employees, for assistance in assigning a role. Or in Superview > Online Help > Roles > associating employees.

3. If the host connectivity is re-established before closing, the afternoon employee can log on to role 1234 and upload the backlogged transactions to the host as follows:

• Log in to EZTeller.
• Select role 1234.
• Press -0- to forward transactions to the host.

The next time role 1234 is used, EZTeller automatically performs an End of Day process and puts role 1234 on the correct business day.
