Business Day Is One Day Ahead of Correct Business Day
Your Business Day is one day ahead of the correct business day.
Usually, this is caused because an End-of-Day transaction that was inadvertently performed.
Workaround:
You need to use the Undo End of Day menu option to reverse the End of Day procedure. There are two scenarios for reversing an End of Day procedure, depending on whether you have processed transactions after declaring an End of Day.
---You Have Not Entered Any Transactions---
- In EZTeller, select Admin > Undo End of Day.
- When EZTeller asks “Are you sure that you wish to undo the end of business day mm/dd/yyyy,” click Yes.
---You Have Entered Transactions---
If you have entered transactions after declaring an End of Day, you must decide whether you want to restore these transactions to the previous Business Day or enter them again.
- In EZTeller, select Admin > Undo End of Day.
- When EZTeller asks “Are you sure that you wish to undo the end of business day mm/dd/yyyy,” click Yes. EZTeller reverses all transactions that have been processed since the End of Day transaction was performed.
- The following message appears: “Do you want to restore ## transactions processed from business day mm/dd/yyyy to business day mm/dd/yyyy?” If you want to restore the transactions to the prior business day, click Yes. OR If you do not want to have these transactions restored the prior business day, click No. If you click No, you must enter the transactions again when the Undo End of Day function is finished.
- The system reverts to the date of the prior business day. Any transactions now entered show the correct business day.
MORE INFORMATION:
Use this function with caution. Once the Undo End of Day process is started you MUST let it complete. DO NOT attempt to stop the process by shutting down EZTeller or your PC.
