Calculator Tape Has Gaps after Updated to EZTeller Version 5.3

Teller's F2 calculator is set to print each line as you type. After the update to version 5.3, there are large gaps between lines on the calculator tape.


Environment:

EZTeller Enterprise Release 5.3

Workaround:

This printing problem has been corrected in EZTeller release 6.0.

 

Configuring the calculator settings so the tape prints after calculations are completed:

  1. Click on the F2 button to bring up the calculator.
  2. Click F1 (Help).
  3. Click P for Print.
  4. Select Print current tape contents.
  5. Click the red X to exit the calculator.

 

Using the calculator:

  1. Click on the F2 button to bring up the calculator.
  2. Enter the calculations and Total.
  3. Type P and hit Enter.
  4. The contents of the tape will print to the validation printer without gaps.
  5. If you are using the F2 calculator within a transaction, you must first print and then click Insert to bring the calculation data into the transaction.
