Changing the Servicing Director Password Policy
Use the Edit Password Policy screen to set up the system-wide password policy.
- To access the Edit Password Policy screen, open System Administration.
- Click Security.
- Click Password Policy.
Changes to the Password Policy take effect for each user individually at their next attempted login.
For users who are currently logged in when the policy is changed, their current login will not be changed or altered or disrupted. After the currently logged in user closes all the Servicing Director applications they have open, the changes to the Password Policy will take effect the next time the user logs in. For example, if you increase the minimum password length policy, a currently logged in user with a password shorter than the minimum password will be able to remain logged in with the shorter password, but a new longer password will need to be entered the next time the user logs in.
