Configure the Addmaster IJ2040 Printer to work with EZTeller Enterprise.

To set up the Addmaster IJ2040 printer in EZTeller Enterprise follow these steps:

1. Open Superview; select Profile Options > Workstations > General.
2. On the Workstations tab, select Modify All Workstations.
3. Select the Validation Printing tab.
4. Select Serial/Parallel Device Type.
5. In the Device field, click the drop-down list and select Addmaster IJ2040.
6. Under Properties > Port, click the drop-down list and select the appropriate com port to which the printer is connected.
7. Under Properties > Baud Rate, click the drop-down and select 9600.
8. Click Apply then click OK.

The tellers must exit EZTeller before this change will be recognized.

9. Set the dipswitch settings on the printer for #2, #5, #7, and #8 to ON.
10. Follow steps below to turn off the FIFO Buffers on the workstation: 

• Right-click My Computer; left-click on Properties; select the Hardware tab; click on Device Manager.
• Click on the plus sign (+) next to Ports (COM & LPT).
• Double-click on the comport the printer is connected to.
• Select the Ports Settings tab.
• Click on the Advanced button.
• Uncheck Use FIFO buffers box.
• Click OK.

11. Reboot the PC.
12. Sign back onto EZTeller.
