Configuring the Addmaster IJ2040 printer to work with EZTeller32.


Follow these steps to set up the Addmaster IJ2040 printer in EZTeller32:

  1. The EZTeller.ini file is in the C:\Windows directory; open and locate the Printer section.
  2. Verify the Printer settings match the following: 
        Port=(confirm the Comport)
        Device=Addmaster IJ2040
        Handshake=RTS
        Baud Rate=9600
        InQueue=128
        OutQueue=4096
        Send EOL=1
        Extra Line Feeds=0
        Batch Ticket Start=6
        Print Balance Start=0
        MICR Font=48
        Data Bits=8
        Stop Bits=1
        Parity=n
  1. On the printer, set dipswitch settings #2,#5, #7, and #8 to ON.
  2. Follow the below steps to turn off the FIFO Buffers:
  • Right click on My Computer > left-click on Properties > select the Hardware tab > click Device Manager.
  • Click on the + in front of Ports (COM & LTP).
  • Double click on the comport the printer is connected to.
  • Select Port Settings tab.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Uncheck Use FIFO buffers box.
  • Click OK.
  1. Reboot the PC and sign back on to EZTeller.
