Configuring the EZTeller Vault Role to Prevent the Teller From Accidentally Processing Customer Transactions when Logged on as Vault.

EZTeller Role Authority Level for the Vault Teller Role is -0-.


The Vault Teller Role has unlimited cash limits, can only buy and sell cash transactions and process Misc. Receipt and Misc. Disbursement transactions. The Vault Role cannot process customer transactions, perform overrides or log into Superview.

Banks sometimes assign their vault teller an authority level of Manager to allow processing of customer transactions with unlimited debit and credit limits, access to Superview and the ability to override transactions.
 

An authority level of Vault Teller -0- is a better choice when there are employees other than managers who will be using the vault role.

 


  1. Open Superview and select the branch as your working group.
  2. Go to EZTeller Roles > Maintenance.
  3. Highlight the role and click on Edit. 
  4. Click on the drop down arrow to change the Authority Level to Vault Teller.

Note: Scroll to the top of the Authority Level list to locate Vault Teller.

  1. Apply and OK.
