Customer Self-Service Installation Error: "The Page Cannot Be Found ... HTTP Error 404 ..."

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.


Root Cause:

One common cause for this error is you do not have Web Service Extensions for the required version of ASP.NET allowed on your server, which is one of the prerequisites for the Customer Self-Service product.

Workaround:

In your Internet Information Services Manager, allow the Web Service Extensions for the required version of ASP.NET, as described in the Customer Self-Service Installation guide. See your Customer Self-Service System Requirements to determine the version of ASP.NET required.  For more information about the System Requirements, search the Knowledge Center with the key words Customer Self-Service System Requirements.
