Customer Self Service Web site Allows Borrowers To Schedule Payments When There Are Stops On A Loan
In Customer Self Service, an online borrower is still allowed to make an online payment even though there is a payment stop on the loan.
Workaround:
Check and confirm that the following changes are made to the loan:
- There should be Stop displayed in the Payment field in the Customer Service > Status & Stop screen.
- Accept Online Payments should not be selected in Customer Service, right click menu > ACH Web Payments screen.
If this is set up correctly, the borrower should get the following error message when attempting an online payment: This loan does not accept online payment.
