Debits and Credits Summary Report Total Difference Column is Out of Balance

The Debits and Credits Summary Report, previously called Check21 Debits and Credits Report in older versions, shows an out of balance condition under the Total Differences column.

Workaround:

When using the Check21 interface, the following settings must be enabled. If any of these are not enabled, they can create an out of balance condition on the Debits and Credits Summary Report.

  1. Select Profile Options > EZTeller > Transaction Settings tab.
  2. Confirm that Add Foreign to Totals is selected. If it is not, check the box to select, click Apply and OK.
  1. Select Profile Options > Transactions > Validation Printing tab.
  2. Confirm that Make Change is selected. If it is not, check the box to select.
  1. Confirm that Batch Checks with Fees is selected. If it is not, check the box to select.
  1. Click Apply and then OK.
