Root Cause:

The Error occurs when attempting to post a Disbursement with an Effective date prior to the last payment posted to a loan.

The procedure calculates accrual adjustments for disbursements of principal that are back-dated.  Which means if there is a transaction Code 210 or 211 with a Transaction Date greater than the Effective date of the disbursement,  the disbursement will not be allowed.

Workaround:

 If you need to backdate a Disbursement that was created prior to the last payment posted to a loan, you must do the following.

  1. First reverse the last payment posted.
  2. Post the disbursement.
  3. Reapply the payment with the correct effective date.
