Envelopes are Printing Too Low in EZTeller After Changing to New Style Validation Printer

Epson TM-U375 validation printers print address in the correct place on envelopes.

Epson TM-U675 or TM-H6000, the address is prints too low on the envelopes requiring the ezt-prt.dat file to be modified.

If there are no envelope settings in the print format file, EZTeller software uses the 375 default configuration.


Environment:

Epson printers that print envelopes include: TM-U375, TM-U675, TM-H6000iv

Workaround:

Call EZTeller client services at 1-800-437-2252 and request a new print dat file (ezt-prt.dat) with envelope printing configured for 675 printers. 

Save the new ezt-prt.dat file into your EZTeller server folder and restart EZTeller.

  1. From the main menu in EZTeller, select Other > Print Envelope.
    The Print Envelopes screen appears.

  2. Enter the name and address information on each line of the envelope.

  3. Click Print.
    The Insert Envelope screen appears.

  4. Insert the envelope in your validation printer.

  5. After printing, a message asks if you want to print another envelope. Select Yes to print another envelope, or No to return to the EZTeller main screen.
