Error 3704 Operation Not Allowed - Search is Incomplete when Pulling EZId Signatures within EZTeller

Error Number: 3704, Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

The search is incomplete. EZTeller is unable to find the path(s) to EZId Images.


Root Cause:

The EZId program searches for images differently than the EZDisplay that interfaces with EZTeller. 

Workaround:

You can view signatures from within EZid. In EZTeller when attempting to view a signature, you get the above errors.

Steps to correct:

  1. In Windows Explorer, browse to C:\Windows\EZId.ini
  2. Open the file using Notepad.
  3. Locate the line reading LocationofMainDrive=
  4. Enter the correct path to the EZId server folder, select Save and Exit.
  5. Restart EZTeller to recognize the corrected setting.
