Error: ICR Service Windows Service is Not Responding
You are logging into Fusion EZTeller Enterprise with ActiveView Teller Capture and receive the error, "Application cannot continue because the required "ICR Service"
Windows service is not responding. It may not be installed, configured, or started.
Workaround:
- Close Fusion EZTeller Enterprise, if open.
- Open Services on the Workstation (Go to Start, click Services).
- Ensure that the following services are running A2iA Service, ICR Service, Net.Tcp Port Sharing (if using AVTC version 9.5), and Transport$AVTC_82 (if using AVTC version 8.21) or Transport$AVTC_95 (if using AVTC version 9.5).
- Restart any that are not and relaunch Fusion EZTeller Enterprise.
- If all services were running, go to C:\ProgramData\Alogent\ICR Engine Interface, and find the AlogentICRService.exe.config; right click and Open with Notepad.
- Find the line, change it from 9000 to 9001; save the file.
- Open Services on the Workstation (Go to Start, click Services).
- Stop the following services in the order listed: A2iA Service, ICR Service, Net.Tcp Port Sharing (if using AVTC version 9.5), and Transport$AVTC_82 (if using AVTC version 8.21) or Transport$AVTC_95 (if using AVTC version 9.5).
- Start the same services in the order listed: A2iA Service, ICR Service, Net.Tcp Port Sharing (if using AVTC version 9.5), and Transport$AVTC_82 (if using AVTC version 8.21) or Transport$AVTC_95 (if using AVTC version 9.5).
- Re launch Fusion EZTeller Enterprise. The error should be cleared.
