Root Cause:

You attempt to perform a Sell Check transaction and receive the following error message: "Warning! You have exceeded the ending serial number range for cashier's checks. EZTeller will not print any more cashier's checks."
 

Note: This error message may also refer to Money Orders or Other Checks.

 

You have reached the end of the serial number range that was entered into Superview.

Workaround:

Following are steps to update your Automatic Serial Number Generation settings for Laser Check printing:

  1. Sign on to Superview and select the branch as your working group.
  2. Go to Branch > Serial Number Administration.
  3. Select the Check Type that you need to update (Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Other Check).
  4. Update the Ending Serial Number. Click Apply.

Note: If you need to update other Check Types, repeat Steps 3 and 4.

  1. When you are finished updating all Check Types, click OK.
  2. Have all tellers restart EZTeller to update this information.
