EZComm.ini Will Not Write to C:\Windows on WINXP SP2 Workstations.
Each time you start EZTeller32 you are prompted to enter the same Host information. There is no C:\Windows\EZComm.ini file. When the teller exits EZTeller32, WindowsXP Service Pack 2 will not permanently save the file. This is a known issue with EZTeller32 and WindowsXP Service Pack 2.
Environment:
EZTeller32
Workaround:
- Open Windows Explorer, locate and open C:\Windows, on the non-working workstation.
- Copy the EZComm.ini file found in the C:\Windows directory, from a working workstation.
- Paste the EZComm.ini file from the working workstation to the C:\Windows directory of the non-working workstation.
- Edit the information as needed (example: ITI NX Sockets needs a unique CStation Name for each workstation).
- Save and Close the file.
- Restart EZTeller32.
