FSP Collectors Work List and Member Contact Maintenance Tools Open the Wrong Servicing Director (Interlinq) Contact Window

When you use the FSP Collectors Work List and Member Contact Maintenance Tools Interlinq Collections button to open Servicing Director (Interlinq), the Servicing Director Contact window is different from the Contact window opened directly from Servicing Director.

For example, the FSP Collectors Work List and Member Contact Maintenance Tools window has only one column of buttons on the right, and no center tabs named Contact, Total Due/Credit, Info, or Statistics. When Servicing Director is opened directly without FSP Collectors Work List and Member Contact Maintenance Tools, the Contact window has two columns of buttons on the right, and four center page tabs.

Workaround:

This issue can be caused by the local settings on the desktop computer.

On the local computer, have your local IT or system administrator who is familiar with Windows procedures do the following:

  1. Open Fusion Servicing Director Collections directly from the Windows programs list under Fusion Servicing Director programs.
  2. Close the Fusion Servicing Director Collections application after it opens successfully.
  3. Open the Windows Registry Editor from the Windows Start > run > REGEDIT.
Important! Edit the Registry at your own risk. Inappropriate changes to the Windows Registry can disable the operating system. To safeguard against such an accident, we recommend that you back up your existing registry by highlighting the Registry key and selecting the File menu>Export.
  4. Navigate to the following Registry key:  HKEY_CURRENT_USERS > Software > Interlinq > Collections > Settings.
  5. Is the REG_DWORD value, named UseCustomContact, listed for this Settings key?
    • No. Go to the next step.
    • Yes. Check the data of the "UseCustomContact" value, and if the data is set to one (1), then double-click UseCustomContact, and change the value Data to zero (0).
  6. Create it by selecting the Edit menu > New > DWORD Value (32bit).
  7. Change the name of the entry from New Value #1 to UseCustomContact.
  8. Select OK and close the Registry.
