FSP Collectors Work List and Member Contact Maintenance Tools Unable to Open Servicing Director (Interlinq) Contact Screen
When you try to use the FSP Collectors Work List and Member Contact Maintenance Tools Interlinq Collections button to open Servicing Director (Interlinq) contact screen, the Servicing Director Contact screen does not open.
Workaround:
This issue individual users can be caused by the local settings on the desktop computer having this issue.
On the local computer, have your local IT or system administrator who is familiar with Windows procedures do the following:
- Open Servicing Director Collections directly from the Windows programs list under the D+H > Servicing Director programs.
- After the Servicing Director Collections application opens successfully, close it.
- Open the Windows Registry Editor from the Windows Start > run > REGEDIT.
Important: Edit the Registry at your own risk. Inappropriate changes to the Windows Registry can disable the operating system. To safeguard against such an accident, we recommend that you back up your existing registry by highlighting the Registry key and selecting the File menu > Export. - Navigate to the following Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USERS > Software > Interlinq > Collections > Settings.
- Select the Edit menu > New > DWORD Value (32bit).
- Change the name of the entry from New Value #1 to UseCustomContact.
- Select OK and close the Registry.
On a Windows 64bit computer, also do the following: - Confirm there are two duplicate Servicing Director program files folders on the computer.
- C:\Program Files (x86)\D+H\
- C:\Program Files\D+H\
- If the C:\Program Files\D+H folders does not exist, then create it.
- Copy the entire Servicing Director folder from the C:\Program Files (x86)\D+H\ folder to the C:\Program Files\D+H\ folder. If prompted to overwrite the Servicing Director in the C:\Program Files\D+H\ folder, approve the overwrite.
This issue can also be present for groups of FSP users if the FSP group security disables opening the Servicing Director (Interlinq) Contact screen. In this case, have your UltraData administrator check the FSP Toolbar Administration tool, and check the users group security for the toolbox named Collections, and the tools named Collector's Work List and Member Contact Maintenance. For these tools, the Security Questions "Prompt for Interlinq Login" should be set to Yes.
