The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Federal Housing Administration (FHA) introduced Payment Supplement, a new loss mitigation option. Since the FHA Payment Supplement program can be offered to borrowers alongside interest rate buydowns and Servicemember Civil Relief Act mortgage relief provisions, the system has been enhanced in this service pack to enable servicers to manage two assistance programs simultaneously.
