Host: Connection Denied: Comms Invalid Connection Name.
Connection Denied: Comms: Invalid Connection Name.
Root Cause:
A user is signing onto a workstation and the error occurs. The workstation could be missing the CStation number or the Cstation number is invalid.
Workaround:
- Open Superview and select your role.
Note: Superview access is defined under Security Details. If you don't have access to this module, contact your administrator.
- You must select a working group when your structural hierarchy is displayed. Select the branch level you are modifying and then click OK.
- Select Profile options >Workstations > Hosts and Comms.
- The default radio button has Modify only the selected workstation selected.
- Highlight the workstation to edit.
- Click on the Comm - Sockets tab.
- Verify the CStation Name and edit.
- Click Apply.
- Click Yes to the message: "Profile changes have occurred on the Comm - Sockets page for 1 workstation. Do you want to save these changes?"
- Click OK to go back to the main screen.
Note: The tellers must exit EZTeller and restart before this change will be recognized.
