Laser Check Serial Numbers are Approaching End of the Defined Range

If you sign on to Superview and receive the message, "Warning! Your Laser Check Serial Numbers are approaching the end of the range defined in Serial Number Administration Menu," it means you are reaching the end of the serial numbers defined in Superview under Serial Number Administration.

Workaround:

Perform the following steps to update the Ending Serial Number field:

  1. Open Superview.

Note: Superview access is defined under Security Details, if you don't have access to this module, contact your administrator. 

  1. Select Branch > Serial Number Administration.

Note: Your current working group must be at the branch level to access the Serial Number Administration screen.

  1. Select the check type from the drop-down list.
  2. Update your Ending Serial Number. Click Apply.
  3. If you need to update other Check Types, repeat steps 3 and 4.
  4. When you are done updating all check types, click OK.
  5. The tellers must restart EZTeller in order for the system to recognize the updated information.
