Late Charge Assess and Waive and NSF Assess and Waive Transactions are appearing under Missing Accounts section on the General Ledger Export Summary by Account Report.
Workaround:
In release 7.9 changes were made to GL accounts to accommodate the new Shadow Accounting feature.
This included adding Late Charge Assess and Waiver and NSF Assess and Waiver categories.
If you do not have these set up in GL Account Assignment, then you will see these listed under 'missing accounts' on your General Ledger Reports.
You will need to set these up in GL Account Assignment, even if you do not plan to use them.
Set these up in the System Administration, Table Setup, open GL Account, then set up the new assignment as appropriate.
Alternatively, you can set them up as NOPOST.
If you have transactions that you do not want to post to the general ledger, you can set up a general ledger account assignment to exclude those transactions from the GL Transactions Update and the missing account section of the GL Export Summary by Account report, by using the NOPOST option. For specific details on NOPOST, check the Help Topics > Search > NOPOST.
Once you have set these up (either as assignment or as NOPOST), they will no longer be found under Missing Accounts on the reports.
