Moving EZTeller Server Folder to a New Server

Instructions on moving the EZTellerServer folder to a new server.

Thick Client Banks:

The EZTellerServer folder contains software but no teller transactions are written to the EZTeller server folder.

  1. Copy the folder to the new server giving the tellers the same permissions to the new EZTeller server folder as on the original server.
  2. On each teller workstation, browse to C:\ProgramData\EZTeller and locate the EZEnterprise.ini file.
  3. Open the EZEnterprise.ini using Notepad and note the File Server Directory setting, example: F:\Apps\EZTellerServer.
  4. Edit the EZTeller server path to point to the new EZTeller server location or re-map the teller's workstation so that the F: drive is now mapped to the new server.

Note: Because there is workstation specific information in each EZEnterprise.ini file, the file cannot be edited and copied to each workstation.
