Moving EZTeller Server Folder to a New Server
Instructions on moving the EZTellerServer folder to a new server.
Thick Client Banks:
The EZTellerServer folder contains software but no teller transactions are written to the EZTeller server folder.
- Copy the folder to the new server giving the tellers the same permissions to the new EZTeller server folder as on the original server.
- On each teller workstation, browse to C:\ProgramData\EZTeller and locate the EZEnterprise.ini file.
- Open the EZEnterprise.ini using Notepad and note the File Server Directory setting, example: F:\Apps\EZTellerServer.
- Edit the EZTeller server path to point to the new EZTeller server location or re-map the teller's workstation so that the F: drive is now mapped to the new server.
Note: Because there is workstation specific information in each EZEnterprise.ini file, the file cannot be edited and copied to each workstation.
