Payments do not accumulate correctly in the LAR file
When you run and submit the FNMA LAR Export, and are set up for 2X Monthly Reporting, you may find that when more than one payment is made on a FNMA loan during the month, the LAR file did not correctly accumulate the payments as it should. For both the Mid Month, as well as the End of Month file submissions, if there was more than one payment made, only the most recent payment amount appears instead of the cumulative total. This may result in rejection of the LAR file by Fannie Mae.
This is not an issue if you are set up for Daily Reporting to Fannie Mae.
Workaround:
Manually correct such rejects on the FNMA website (SURF).
Submit a case through Case Management to increment Request for Change 00310265.
