Provide a Valid Export File Location to Proceed With This Action
If you are setting up an Event Manager export event, then after you successfully browse to a remote network location, you may see this error displayed: Provide a valid export file location to proceed with this action.
Root Cause:
If you can confirm the remote network location can be accessed by your Windows user, and your Windows user can successfully create a file in the location of the name you provided for the event's export file name, then this may be an issue in Fusion Servicing Director.
Workaround:
- Have your local IT or System Administrator use the Windows procedures to map a network drive for the remote network location.
- Set up the export event criteria using the mapped drive location instead of browsing directly to the remote location.
Note: Events using a mapped network drive location cannot be run "unattended", where you have some scheduling software run the Event Manager application without any user present.
