Reassigning a Workstation ID in EZTeller

When moving a workstation from one location to another or when a workstation is accidentally assigned incorrectly, the workstation ID will need to be reassigned.


Follow these steps to assign a new Workstation ID to an existing PC:

  1. Open Superview on an existing workstation.
  2. Select Bank > Workstation Setup.
  3. Make sure there is an available workstation for that location. If there is not, add a workstation or un-assign an existing workstation ID that is no longer in use. 
  4. Move to the workstation that you want to assign the new Workstation ID.
  5. Open Windows Explorer.
  6. Navigate to C:\Program Data\ EZTeller. 
  7. Locate and delete the EZLocalCacheENT.mdb file.
  8. Locate and open the EZEnterprise.ini
  9. Remove the Station ID=xx and Branch ID=xx lines, save and close.
  10. Start EZTeller or Superview on the workstation.
  11. The structural hierarchy will display, select the branch location where the workstation resides and select the available workstation ID.
