Resetting Fusion Servicing Director Admin Password

Resetting Fusion Servicing Director Admin Password

If you don't know the password for your Servicing Director user name Admin, you can clear or reset the password, which removes the current password. Then, the Admin user will be required to enter a new password at the next login.

Have a Servicing Director user, which has administrator access to the System Administration>Security Setup window, clear the Admin user password, as follows:

  1. Open the System Administration to the Security Setup window.

  2. Highlight the Admin user, and click the Clear Password button.

  3. Click Close.

  4. At this point, the previous Admin user password is removed, leaving the password field blank.

  5. When you login as the Admin with the blank password, the Servicing Director login displays the message, "Blank passwords are not allowed."

  6. Click OK, and the Change Password dialog is displayed.

  7. Leave the Old Password field blank, and enter a new password in the New Password and Re-enter Password to Verify fields.

  8. Click OK.

If you don't have any other user with access to System Administration>Security Setup, submit a case in Case Management to have support help your local IT reset the Admin password by using SQL to modify the Admin user data.
