Reversing a Final Analysis in Servicing Director

Reversing a Final Analysis in Servicing Director

You can reverse a final escrow analysis for an individual loan or batch of loans Servicing Director if the following conditions are met:

  • The most recent final escrow analysis is reversed.
  • A reversal is performed within 14 days of the final escrow analysis.

Loans are deleted from a batch when a final analysis batch is reversed. If all loans in a batch are reversed, you can reuse that batch. You can change the batch criteria, but not the effective date. Therefore, unless you plan to reuse the batch immediately, we recommend that you delete the batch. Loans can be reanalyzed the same day as the original analysis when the original analysis is reversed.

IMPORTANT!

Before you reverse a final escrow analysis, consider the following:

  • Statements that show a new payment amount may have been sent to borrowers.
  • Borrowers may have made payments using a new payment amount.
  • Escrow surpluses may have been disbursed.
  • If a surplus batch was created but not posted, loans are deleted from the disbursement batch when the final analysis is reversed. Loans that were already posted are not deleted from the disbursement batch. Loans remaining in the reversed analysis batch are not deleted from the disbursement batch.
