Servicing Director (Databases) Setup has failed. If the problem persists, please contact Product Support.
Root Cause:
There can be more than one cause for this error, but the most common cause is that your installation of Microsoft SQL Server has a restricted Windows service logon account, which prevents SQL Server from performing the Servicing Director installation.
Workaround:
First, save a copy of the Servicing Director (Databases) installation log file. This log file will have the file name INLQ_Install.log, and it will be located on the Windows server C:\ drive root folder or in the C:\SvcData root folder. The current file should have a Windows modified file date that matches the date and time of your most recent run of the installation program. Save a copy of the INLQ_Install.log by renaming it.
Second, change the Windows service logon account for your SQL Server service to a less restricted account, such as the local machine account (at least for the duration of the Servicing Director installation). The Servicing Director System Requirements document says this about configuring your SQL Server:
Windows service account: Select a Windows service logon account with elevated privileges such as the local system account or a suitable domain account. Servicing Director will use SQL Server to access the Windows registry or other areas requiring elevated privileges.
Then, try the Servicing Director (Databases) installation program Setup.exe again.
