Servicing Director 7.8 Known Issue: The Event Manager>Daily Delinquency Counters Update Error: "T_DelinquentCounters_Update : The INSERT statement conflicted..."

The event failed and reported this error:
T_DelinquentCounters_Update : The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_LoanStatistics_Contact". The conflict occurred in database "Service", table "dbo.Contact".
The statement has been terminated.

 


Root Cause:

After upgrading to Servicing Director 7.8, the Event Manager event named Daily Delinquency Counters Update performs new calculations that expect data to be present in all tables that the Loan Setup module would populate when importing a loan.  Some custom methods of importing loans which do not use the Loan Setup module may have not populated all the expected tables, causing this event to fail with this error.

Workaround:

Upgrade to Servicing Director 7.9.
