Servicing Director Application Error: "Loan Servicing Configuration Info...Is Missing..."

Loan Servicing configuration info (<your SvcData network shared folder location>\EventMgr.mdw) is missing.

Run LSCnfg.exe at the server to recreate it.


Root Cause:

The EventMgr.mdw file is in your Servicing Director \SvcData network shared folder, and the error indicates the file is missing or your Windows account running the Servicing Director applications does not have Windows permission to read the file.

The EventMgr.mdw file is a file created by the Servicing Director Database product installation, and it is a required file for all Servicing Director applications on all desktops.

 

Workaround:

Have your system administrator confirm whether your \SvcData folder is missing the EventMgr.mdw file. 

If the EventMgr.mdw file is missing, have your administrator run the LSCnfg.exe program on the Servicing Director Database server to recreate the file.  For more information about running the LSCnfg.exe program, search Servicing Director LSCnfg in Knowledge Center.

 

If the EventMgr.mdw file is not missing, have your administrator confirm your Windows account has permission to read the file. For more information about viewing and changing Windows permissions, see your Microsoft Windows support resources.
