Servicing Director Application Installation SQL Log Error: "Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 12..."

Reason: Login-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error. Check for previous errors.


Root Cause:

This can be caused by changes to your SQL server, where the product provided ApplicationInstall SQL login using the Microsoft default Public server role is now denied access to the Servicing Director databases. 


 

Workaround:

Have your system administrator or database administrator re-enable access of the Microsoft SQL Public server role to your Servicing Director databases. For more information about the Microsoft SQL Public server role and granting access, see your Microsoft SQL server support information.
