Servicing Director Application - InstallShield Wizard

The installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86) appears to have failed.

Do you want to continue the installation?

Root Cause:

This is an issue currently being researched to determine if the Servicing Director application installation error is caused by the computer having a newer version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86) already installed.

The Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86) is a Microsoft update, and your system may have installed a newer version.

Workaround:

Confirm the full decimal version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86) you have installed on the computer.

If it is newer (a higher version number) than the version listed in the Servicing Director system requirements in the Knowledge Center for your version, then that may be the cause of the error.

While Servicing Director hasn't been tested with a minor revised version of C++ 2015 version 14.0.x, you may need to keep your newer version and you should test Servicing Director with it. The expectation of a such a minor revision should be Servicing Director may work just fine with it.

If you then click Continue to allow the Servicing Director application installation to continue, Servicing Director should be installed.
