Servicing Director Credit Bureau Export File is Rejected by Credit Agency Because the Detail Records Include an Unknown Identification Number in Position 21

You may find that your Servicing Director Credit Bureau Export file is rejected by the Credit Agency because the Detail records include an unknown Identification Number in position 21.

Workaround:

The Servicing Director Credit Bureau Export uses the first seven (7) digits of your Servicing Director Company Tax ID number as the Export Identification Number in position 21. Your Credit Agency may be identifying your company by a different identifier than your Servicing Director Company Tax ID identifier.

The Company Tax ID number is found in the Table Setup > Company screen. This Company Tax ID number should not be changed in Servicing Director. Instead, you should notify your Credit Agency that your Company also needs to be identified by your Servicing Director 7 digit Company Tax ID number. The Credit Agency is able to accept files with different Identification Numbers as long as they are made aware of this.
