Servicing Director EDI Export For FHA Default TS264 Is Missing Data In Segment N1*JU*Z~

If the department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is one of your trading partners, and you utilize the Servicing Director EDI Export for FHA Default TS264 to report defaults on FHA loans to HUD, you may find that your export file is rejected due to missing data in segment N1*JU*Z~

Segment N1*JU*Z~ is used to identify the HUD servicing office; Z is the letter used to indicate the servicing office name.

Workaround:

This type of rejection would indicate that HUD office information is missing, and you do not have the HUD information correctly set up in Servicing Director.

If the department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is one of your trading partners, you must enter general information about the HUD office that you send EDI files to. Use the Company screen - HUD Office tab in the System Administration application to enter HUD information for use with EDI files.
All fields in the screen should be completed, including your HUD mortgagee ID number and your HUD servicing office (the HUD office that you report to).
