Servicing Director Error: The Loan you Selected has an Over Prepayment Error

The Loan you selected has an Over Prepayment error


Root Cause:

When you try to analyze a loan in Servicing Director™ > Analysis module, you may encounter the above error. 

The likely cause of this error is that the loan has no Last Analyzed Date, or that the loan is being analyzed for the first time, and has not been appropriately prepared for the first analysis.

Workaround:

  1. Confirm that the loan has a Last Analyzed Date in Customer Service > Dates screen. If not, enter the valid date here.

Note: If this a a first time analysis, the Last Analyzed Date should be equal to or greater than the Loan Add Date.

  1. Run the Analysis Conversion/Acquisition Update Event, using in the criteria of the event, the Last Analyzed Date set up for the loan.

 

You should be able to now successfully analyze the loan.
