Root Cause:
Before writing to the archive, the Event Manager application tries to write a test text file to the location you have setup for the archive. If this test writing fails, you will get this message.Workaround:
Have your local IT or system administrator troubleshoot why your path is now incorrect. This path is a Windows server and shares a name location your institution created and provided using Windows shared folder procedures, and networking. When this path was created, it was tested in the same manner as this test above, and it must have succeeded at that time. The error means your Windows user running Event Manager no longer can locate or write to the path. It is possible for your local servers, networking, or Windows user permissions to be changed by your local IT or system administrators, which would explain how the path is now incorrect.
As part of your troubleshooting, have the Windows user running Event Manager leave the Servicing Director applications, and from within Windows Explorer, create your own test text file in the shared folder, and once you can do so successfully, then when you run Event Manager, Event Manager will be able to write to it also.
For most documents, if your local IT or system administrator resolves the issue before the Servicing Director system is advanced to the next business day, the one event which failed could be run again as an individual event and produce the same document data, and include an archive copy.
