Servicing Director Event Manager MortgageBot Event Error: "...Invalid procedure call or argument..."

If this error is cleared, then this error appears:

Encountered an improper argument.

If this error is cleared, then the Event Manager application stops responding correctly to user actions on the screen, and this error appears if you try to close Event Manager: 

Enter a date in the REMOVE WARNING field that is on or after the posting date.

Also, there is a popup screen of a System Administration Table Setup Company Transactions screen, which would not normally appear from Event Manager, but the screen is blank and it does not respond to any user actions.

Root Cause:

This is an issue in Servicing Director.

Workaround:

Normally, you would not stop Event Manager without concern for which events are running or need to be run by Event Manager, but this issue requires you to stop Event Manager. 

Review which events you are running and which events you still plan to run.  Take special care if you happen to be attending an end of day Run All events, which may not be the case, but if it is, be sure to not click the Run All again after this point.  You must only click the Run All button once per business day, and if you have already clicked it once for the just finished business day, do not click it again until you are at the end of your next business day tomorrow.  For more information about the procedures for an error during the Run All events, search Knowledge Center with the key words Servicing Director Run All Error.  

Once you know which events you still need to do, use Windows Task Manager to terminate the process named EventMgr.exe.  You may need the assistance of your local IT or system administrator to help with this Windows procedure. 

Now you can open Event Manager again, and if you open the MortgageBot Build Import Data event criteria again, do not click on the Browse button on the Criteria screen.  Instead, manually enter all values and do not use the Browse button at any point.  The MortgageBot event should now run normally.
