Servicing Director Event Manager Output Files Do Not Save With A Unique Identifier Or Date Stamp In The File Name

When an event is run in Event Manager, the output file for a letter, report or export. does not automatically save any unique identifier or date stamp as part of the file name.
There is a possibility then, that each time the same event is run, and no manual changes are made to the saved file name, it will overwrite the file with the same name from the last time the event was run.
Servicing Director Event Manager does not create any unique part of the file name, so that each file can be uniquely identified.

Workaround:

There are some Servicing Director events, newly added to the system, which have been designed to automatically add a unique identifier to the saved file output.
Examples of these are the Mini Milar Export and the VA (Valeri) Export.
Possibly more new events, including letters and reports, as they are added to the system, will include this functionality.
Servicing Director will not be retro fitting any of the existing events with this feature.

You will not be able to use this in any other events - including any custom ones you create.
There is no workaround in Servicing Director for this, however some clients use third party products to automatically either move or rename files uniquely each day so that they are not overwritten.
