After successfully completing all of the required steps in the Help Topics on how to implement In House coupons, you may find that when you run the Event Manager In House Coupon Rpt Event, the coupons do not generate and print as expected. The event instead results in a blank output file.
Workaround:
By design, the delivered In House Coupons event will only generate and print while connected to a Servicing Director SQL Server database that is named 'Service'.
The database name 'Service' is the default name given to the Servicing Director database.
If you have named the database anything other than 'Service', the In House Coupon Rpt Event will not produce any output.
Typically, this problem would arise if you are working in a Test or QA environment and your database may be named something other than 'Service' for testing purposes.
In order to produce the In House Coupons, you will need to find a way to work on a database called 'Service'.
