Root Cause:

The Loan Maturity update event is designed to work for only some specific interest methods.

This update handles loans where interest method is one of these: 

  • Arrears - code 0
  • Advance - code 1
  • Interest Only - code 2

 

If you do not have any of the above interest methods on any of your loans, this event may fail with that error.

If so, there is a different update event for loans with other interest methods (Loan Maturity FFIEC Update event).

Workaround:

If you do not have any of the above interest methods on any of your loans, this event may fail with that error.

You should then remove the Loan Maturity Update from your list of scheduled, recurring instances.

There is, instead, a different update event for loans with other interest methods. It is called the 'Loan Maturity FFIEC Update' event - and you should schedule 'Loan Maturity FFIEC Update' event in place of Loan Maturity Update.
