Servicing Director Loan Transfer Import Event Does Not Successfully Import And Transfer Loans When The Pool Numbers Are Alpha-Numeric
You may find that the Servicing Director Loan Transfer Import Event does not work successfully when you are using Pool Numbers that are alpha-numeric.
The Loan Transfer Import Event will not create an Investor transfer batch containing all your loans as expected.

Workaround:
If you have Pool Numbers that are alpha-numeric, then you should be directing the Loan Transfer Import Event to use a specific layout map file, designed to handle alpha numeric pool numbers.
Servicing Director delivers two layout files for this event.
By design, the event will be using the layout file for numeric pool numbers, called LoanTransfer_Import.txt.
If you have alpha numeric pool numbers, then you need to use the alternate layout file, called LoanTransfer_Import_AlphaPools.txt.
To select the appropriate layout file for your event, do the following:
- Open Event Manager.
- Select the Events menu>Maintenance>Events.
- Select the Loan Transfer Import event.
- Click Edit.
- Click Criteria.
- Use the Browse option in the Layout File Location to browse out to your production \SvcData\Map Files folder.
- Select the layout file called LoanTransfer_Import_AlphaPools.txt for use with alpha-numeric pool numbers.
- Select the layout file called LoanTransfer_Import.txt for use with numeric pool numbers.
- Click OK.
