Servicing Director Login Error: "...SQL Server does not Exist or Access Denied"

Connection failed:
SQLState: '01000'

SQL Server Error: 17
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Root Cause:

The Servicing Director applications cannot connect to your Servicing Director database server. 


Workaround:

Have your local IT or administrator confirm the following:

  1. The Servicing Director database server is online and ready for connections. 
  2. Network connections from the Servicing Director applications desktop to the network name for your Servicing Director database server are available and successful. 
  3. The Servicing Director applications are configured with the correct Servicing Director database server name. The applications use the Windows ODBC Data Sources to specify the name of the Servicing Director database server name.  For more information about viewing and changing these ODBC settings, search Knowledge Center using the key words Servicing Director ODBC.
