Root Cause:
This message means the Prior Transaction Posting date on your system is not exactly 12/31 for the just ended year.Workaround:
This message can appear when you are setting the Year End Rollover event criteria.
The message is confirming the criteria you are setting the Year End Rollover event criteria only. When you click Yes, the criteria for the event will be set, but the event will not be actually run. You will still have to run the event after the criteria is set.
If you do not expect this message, then click No, and review the Year End Rollover settings.
Confirm your Prior Transaction Posting date is correct for your business and that the Prior date is the date of your last day of business for the just ended year.
You can confirm the Transaction Dates for your system using the Company table transactions screen. For more information about viewing the Transaction Dates, search Knowledge Center with the keywords Servicing Director Viewing Transaction Dates.
For some businesses, the Prior Transaction Posting date may be your last day of business for the year and not be 12/31, allowing you to ignore the message and continue. For example, if your very last business day is 12/30 and all your transactions and adjustments for the year are completed, and your are Servicing Director end of year procedures are directing to you run the Year End Rollover event at this point, then you can ignore the message and click Yes to continue.
If the Prior Transaction Posting date is not your last day of business for the year, click No to the message and review the Servicing Director end of year procedures to complete what is needed before running the Year End Rollover event at a later time.
